“Life at the Sharp End: Humanitarian Surgery in Conflict Zones”
Mr Ed Brown is a Consultant Vascular and General Surgeon at Morriston Hospital, Swansea. After medical school in the University of Birmingham, he trained in surgery in the West Midlands, South West, New Zealand and Wales.
He has undertaken a number of humanitarian surgical missions to places such as Gaza, South Sudan, Yemen and Uganda, with Médecins Sans Frontières, Medical Aid for Palestinians and Hernia International.
He has also completed the UK Diploma in Mountain Medicine and worked as an expedition doctor in Greenland and Kyrgyzstan.
